Welcome to Golden Pond Country Store!
E. M. Heath, Inc. purchased the Golden Pond Country Store in November 2013. It had been a convenience store and gas station serving the Lakes Region area since the 1980’s. Please see the additional services that we have added to make your experience more enjoyable. You will not be disappointed!Located near the shores of Squam Lake in Holderness, N.H., the Golden Pond Country Store is the perfect place to stop for a home-cooked meal, snack or pizza. We offer a variety of great foods for the entire family.
In 1981 Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn filmed the Academy Award winner “On Golden Pond” on beautiful Squam Lake. Squam is flanked by mountains on three sides and is the second-largest lake in New Hampshire.
In addition to selling gas and fuel, the Golden Pond Country Market services the Squam Lake Region with a variety of retail offerings and quality homemade foods!
